Our Story

We started in the dirt —
and never left.

It started small. As kids — around thirteen — Ramiro, Raul and Eliseo were already out mowing lawns, pulling weeds and learning what a well-kept yard actually takes. There was no shortcut and no shop; there was a mower, a truck and the kind of work ethic you only get from doing it yourself, season after season.

Those early lawns taught us the part most people never see: how the ground drains, how soil behaves in the Texas heat, how a clean edge separates "fine" from "finished." Year by year the jobs got bigger and the brothers kept saying yes — beds, plantings, grading, and eventually the detailed art of hardscaping: patios, walkways and stone that turn a yard into a place you actually want to be.

We grew up in this work, and we built R&R on the three things that kept customers calling us back: Reliability — we show up when we say we will. Quality — every grade, seam and edge gets the attention it deserves. Communication — honest pricing and a real person on the other end of the phone.

The one who reads the ground first. Ramiro handles grading, drainage and sod prep — the unglamorous groundwork that decides whether a lawn thrives or struggles. He's usually the face homeowners meet at the first walkthrough.

Raul

Co-founder · Design & Beds

The eye of the operation. Raul shapes the layout, plant selection and flower beds, balancing what looks great today with what'll fill in beautifully over the seasons — all chosen to handle the Texas climate.

Eliseo

Co-founder · Hardscaping

The patient hands behind the stone. Eliseo leads hardscaping — patios, walkways, borders and retaining walls — where a fraction of an inch is the difference between a build that looks intentional and one that doesn't.

How We Grew

From a mower and a truck

Learned the trade as kids

Around age thirteen, the brothers started mowing and caring for neighborhood lawns — picking up the fundamentals of soil, water and a clean edge the only way that sticks: by doing it themselves, week after week.

Our first solo lawns

Word got around. Reliable kids who showed up and did careful work turned into a steady book of residential clients — and the realization that this could be more than a side job.

Expanded into design & beds

Customers started asking for more than mowing. We grew into full landscape design, garden and flower beds, mulch and rock — learning how to make a whole yard work together, not just look tidy.

The detailed art of hardscaping became our specialty — patios, walkways and retaining walls — and today R&R serves homeowners across all of Dallas–Fort Worth, fully insured and open seven days a week.
